The following certificates in original should be presented at the time of counseling.  

1. SSLC/THSLC/CBSE/Equivalent Certificate in support of educational qualification, reservation and age.
2. Nativity Certificate as specified in the prospectus
3. 	
  a.Community Certificate for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe   
    candidates should be obtained from the Tahasildar concerned. 
  b.Community Certificate  and Income Certificate for Socially and 
    Educationally Backward classes (Caste and Communities as per  
    GO(P) 208/66/Edn. Dated 02.05.1966 with an aggregate family 
    income up to Rs.2,50,000/- per annum) issued by Revenue Officer 
    not below the rank of a Village Officer.
  c.Candidates desirous of availing the seats under Tuition Fee 
    Waiver Scheme for Economically backward categories (Irrespective 
    of the communities) should submit the income certificate from 
    concerned village officer to the effect that the Annual family 
    income is less than Rs. 2,50,000.
4. Applicants belong to LC community who claim eligibility under  
   reservation quota should produce  a community certificate 
   specifying that they belongs to “LC other than Anglo Indian” .
5. Candidates who secure admission against the special category  
   should produce the following original certificates 
 (i)Certificate from registered Orphanage (for OR).
 (ii)Certificate of  disability (minimum 40%) issued by Medical  
   Boards constituted by the Government of Kerala (for persons with 
   disability – Locomotor disability, Hearing impaired and Blind or 
   low vision).
 (iii)Candidates who have claimed eligibility for admission against 
   the category persons with disability (Locomotor disability, 
   hearing impaired and Blind of low vision – PH) should produce a 
   certificate from Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant 
   Surgeon to the effect that the candidate is fit enough to undergo  
   the course in the Polytechnic College, having more than 40% 
   disability.
 (iv)Certificate from Army/Navy/Air Force/ Rajya Sainik Board or any 
   other competent authority showing discharge from the service in 
   the case of Ex-servicemen (XS).
 (v)Certificate from Army/Navy/Air Force authorities to show that the 
   applicant is the dependant of the servicing Defense Personnel (for 
   SD).
 (vi)Other relevant certificate if the applicant claims eligibility 
   under any special category.
